Bought a used 88hp Johnson. Replaced leaky o-ring plug seal on boat-side of motor. It was the center tilt cylinder. We then replenished lost fluids and mounted motor on boat. To our surprise, the tilt still slowly but noticebly drops. Is there anything we can do from outside to repair or do we have to remove motor from boat again and rebuild the cylinder? I do not know if trim is affected as it would be less noticeable.<br />Thanks for any and all advice on how to proceed.
