88 johnson 150 wont trim down

I have this motor on a stand in my garage. It was pulled off the boat 1 month ago and it trimmed up and down just fine. When the motor was pulled it was not trimmed down all the way. Now I need to get the motor lowered so I can work on it. I released the manual bypass valve and nothing happened. What did I do wrong? Is there a way I can jump the elec motor to trim it down? 5 wires; blue, green, red, black and white. Any ideas? Thanks B

never, mind I am blind.<br /> locate the trim relay box on the back of the motor. follow the two 10Ga green and blue wires to the plastic quick connector. seperate the connector. use two jumper leads on the motor side of the connector, blue to positive batt makes it go up and green to positive batt makes it go down. this will bypass all the relays and actuate just the trim motor
