88 evinrude 150hp water leak normal?

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone knows the water leaking in the photo is norming. It's coming around just behind the 4 bolt plate. We took off the plate and turned it on and doesn't look like the water is coming from that. Anyone have an idea of what it is or if it's normal?

Just a leaky pump housing. Have you ever had it apart to replace impeller and inspect the housing?

I prefer to setvice them every 50-100 hours.

Possible that the lower unit was not re-assembled correctly when the impeller was last changed. When the lower unit is fitted back into place after the impeller is changed, there is a rubber grommet that needs to be fitted between the exhaust tube and the top of the gearcase. Part number: 320961. If it's missing or not installed properly, you can get a lot of water bleeding around that seal area.
