So my 88 75hp mariner 3 cyl has decided to be stubborn. The motor will turn over and fire but will die quickly unless the choke is held in. Even then it won't stay running for long. I have spark and opened the carbs and nothing obvious was present. I've pumped the bulb while it was running and no change. I've replaced the bulb and line recently. Really at my wits end. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Certainly sounds like it's not getting fuel. You confirmed that by being able to keep it going by using the enrichner. The fact that you can't keep it going for long kinda points to the fuel pump despite the primer bulb test. If the motor has never had it's carbs and fuel pump rebuilt, I'd start there.

Went thru the fuel pump and still having the same issues. Adjusted the carbs no luck. Ugh gonna have to fork out the $$ unfortunately. Thanks for the help though.
