Hello Murray
It all depends on how bad of shape your motor is in. How fast you want it done.
Do you know why you have a bad cyclender?
Did it over heat? Did it run out of oil?
Has the thing been sitting around for a while? There are a few things to check before you tear into it. Let us know.

Hi Murray
Some times when cylenders over heat the rings just become stuck in the ring groves.
I would try soaking that hole with a decarb product. Soak it, turn it over, soak it some more. Play with it a couple of days. Retest compression. I still bad remove the exhaust cover on the port side. This should give you a look at the rings and cylender walls. Push on the rings with an awl to see if they are springy. Remember this is kind of a long shot. If I had your motor, and the decarb didn't work. I would probably go for over hauling it myself.
