88 200hp starter issue

My Starter dosent spin at all when i turn the key just makes a click noise but nothing happens. Tested my battery it was fine. i read on a thread earlier it said to bypass the solenoid tried it still nothing. Just wonder if i'm right in thinking that the starter is toast! Thank you ahead of time for the help!

how did you test the battery?

I took it to Auto Zone had them test it. They said it was fine. I took their word on it.

maybe just the relay is not making good contact internal, only way to tell is with a voltmeter on different points to see if the voltage is getting to the starter itself. Could be bad connections or cables

Took the starter off today and the Positive post is real loose coming out of the starter! Hooked the jumper cables to it and nothing happend.
