I would appreciate any information on my motor. While up on power & moving my accelerator forward my motor accelerates but when I quit moving the accelerator forward the motor still accelerates like it is catching up to the next rpm band. Seems to only do this above 2,000 rpm. Shouldn't it be more responsive and only accelerate as I do? Any help?<br /> Also, when under low rpm power, moving forward, my power trim for the motor seems to have recently quit working. (Bad timing too, going through some shallow water, got a little bumpy). When I stopped and put the motor in neutral the power trim lifted and lowered like it should(?). The unit has fluid. I was using the trim to get me through some shallow water at the time keeping the motor tilted up so the prop was just under the water. Could this have caused this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
