new boat owner here, just bought a 22' Stingray that the owner was about to pull the motor out of to sell as a hull and trailer only, the problem is that he got as far as the wiring and some accessories. The wire harness has not been cut and its pretty much all there, but I dont have a clue where all the wires are supposed to go.

can anybody here help me put these wires back where they are supposed to go?

I still don't know where most of these wires go, but Id really just like to know where the battery selector switch or batteries connect to the boat.

Ayuh,... I believe there's a Merc manual up in the Adults Only section at the top of this forum that'll cover your motor...

The Battery(+) side connects to the big lug on the starter solenoid,...
And the Ground(-) usually bolts to an aft block bolt...
