I recently purchased an 87' smokercraft, and now I'm doing a complete interior restoration, but I have a few questions about gauges.
1. Is it a big deal to remove a few gauges like the tilt and ammeter gauge?(neither gauge works)
2. Will it mess with the motor any since the harnesses plug into the motor?
I want to add gauges that would serve me better, I'm thinking a temperature gauge and a dual battery voltage gauge.
I'm cutting a beautiful piece of cherry to make the dash, and now its down to which gauges go back in, and where are my new ones going.
PS, I'm keeping the Tach.
