87 Force 85 hp died on me ????

After running good all day,she dies,restart,no probs,throttle up,,,dies,,,restart,,,runs good at "no wake speed" only ????

gas,plugs,prop,carb butterflies...all good

thoughts ??????

are you getting spark on all 3 cylinders ? - you might have lost something electrical

If it starts up fine and dies when you throttle up, try squeezing the primer bulb just before and while you throttle up. If that makes a difference, then you may have a bad fuel pump diaphragm, or some type of fuel delivery issue..

Replaced fuel filters,hooked up aux tank
Well,took her today for a test.
ran great !....then I throttled down....probs back !

primer bulb fine
havent tested spark yet

Do the spark test and a compression test.
Then check the fuel pump diaphragm.
Water in the tank?
Check the hoses.
outboardignition.com has test procedures for that motor.
No high speed could be a stator problem.

Check for loose or broken wires.
