87 Force 85 HP choke sticks/stuck

My choke is sticking. Sometimes after manual choke it works for a while. Can is be cleaned or does it require replacement??

Sounds like it's dirty.WD-40 the plunger.Then cycle it a few times.Then WD it again.J

I suggest that you clean the choke solinoid with carb cleaner and then lube with a spray oil.

Check the three gaskets that separate the airbox from the carbs. They swell and sometimes bind on the choke stop levers. A simple trim job with a razor knife will help, otherwise take a pliers and gently bend a little clearance in the stop lever.
