Can anyone tell what the factory size jets should be? Also is it true that there is no carb adjustment, just timing?

Main jet should be 72 at sea level. The carb has a idle mixture screw that can be adjusted. Do not lean below 1 turn as the idle circuit supplies part of the fuel at WOT. Lean it out and you get a burned piston.

You really need to get a repair manual. The carbs must be synchronized to the timing and set to open correctly, in addition to the mixture being set.

Before you go messing with them, study and know what you must do.
