I have a 87 Bayliner with a 87 Force 50hp and am unsure where to post this. The problem is when I start the motor it starts fine, run the rpms up a bit and it throws the breaker at the base of the head unit. I also noticed that the wires going to the lanyard get hot. I bypassed the lanyard as a test and its the same results.
It seems that if you let it idle and very very slowly bring the rpms up you have a better chance of hitting wot without it tripping the breaker. If you do a hole shot its almost guaranteed to trip it.
Any ideas
Thanks in advance
Kenny
