I've got a 86 4 cylinder 75 hp just had new trigger and stator installed and a couple coils It runs perfect put when its wide open it will miss bog down then open back up just back and forth like that then finally stay bogged down?? I've changed all the coils with no luck changed spark plugs checked spark and even sprayed some starting fluid at wide open in one carb at a time to see if it was fuel related with no luck... I noticed the other day the wires to the stator was holding back something in there that moves when I give it gas so I fixed that and took it out it was even worse idk what to do?

When you say you took something out. Tell more about that sounds like you may have messed with the trigger that could effect your timing depending on what you did. Trigger is advanced by throttle arm

I didn't replace the trigger and stator a shop did. I noticed on my arm thag moves the trigger when u give it had wasn't going all the way tell it stops the wires was to tight and it wouldn't move but half way so I fixed that ran it today and it ran great for about 3-4 min then went down hill started missing bad so I backed the throttle down to half throttle and it ran good there

You should get a beep if it overheats. I wonder how they timed your motor if the new stator would not move all the way.
