I'd stick with the fuel problem. When it bogs what does the bulb feel like? Is it sucked in flat or is it soft with some fuel in it? If sucked in, look for problems toward the tank. If soft, squeeze it and see if the engine recovers. If so, look for problems between it and the carbs. If no problems then must be the carbs, maybe just one. On an 86 with today's fuel, expect rubber/hose degredation and in some cases like mine, little pieces of hose breaking off and clogging things up. I had a bogging problem and turned out to be one tiny piece of black rubber hose clogging the high speed jet on one carb. Didn't see it till I hit the jet with air and out she came.
