This motor sat for about three years and was running horribly at first. I have changed the tank, cleaned the carbs and such. The motor runs very well now except for one problem. At WOT, the boat will run for about 75 yards and then die as if it is running out of fuel. It will then start right back up (with choke) and run off again and die. I suspect the fuel pump. Am I on the right track? Also, if it is the pump, I would like to replace it with non vro pump. Will all of the wiring connectors (plugs) match up or will I have to do some cutting and splicing. TIA
