Ok, so i had a problem with my #1 carb overflowing out the overflow tube. Fixed that by replacing float valve and adjusting float. Took her out for about 3 hours the day after i fixed that problem and she ran sweet! It was 4 days later (this past sunday) i was going to take a friend out fishing and she started, and idled great. I got out of the no wake zone and opened her up, but she just kinda farted out. ran at idle speed fine but any thing more than that she bogged down. I noticed fuel leaking from the air silencer again (was doing that with the #1 carb problem). So today i removed the silencer and noticed my #2 carb spitting fuel out the throat and upon looking closer, fuel is pissing out the tube in the middle of the carb throat which i think is the high speed oriface? Does anyone know what would cause this and how to fix it? I took a video of what its doing and put it on my YouTube.

Thanks for any help!!

Looks like you blew a reed. Pull the carb. Pull the trottle body and shine a light down the opening to number 2. Look for a broken or cracked reed. The engine is doing what it should do....building pressure when the piston goes down. The reeds hold it in for the new charge. I am seeing your charge being forced out the front of the engine, which indicates a reed is not closing properly.

You either blew a reed or the reed block has loosened up. Those mtrs were known for that.

After reading through some of the other posts here, thats what i kinda figured out. So i did some reading through my seloc manual and what i read is that if a reed broke i have to take the whole motor apart and find the broken piece? I also have the Johnson service manual but i couldnt find anything on the reeds in it. What are the reeds considered part of (fuel system, powerhead, etc)?
So I figure if there is a broken or worn reed I should replace all of them, or just whats broken? How difficult of an undertaking is replacing the reeds? How many reed boxes are on the 200?
Thanks a million guys!

Pull the carbs and then the intake manifold and you will find the reeds. There six reed blocks. Do this first before going any further. Good parts break down on shop.evinrude . com.

Well, I pulled the carbs and intake manifold, and You were right boobie. The reed block screws had completely fallen out (I found them under the power head) and the block was obviously sitting there loose. Got it all back together and she fired right up, and ran sweet!
Thanks for the help! Its much appreciated!
