I know the feeling, just started my project as well on an 87 297 model. Both motors need some items, started working on the fuel system last weekend for one of them. I plan to get one fired up and running and then focus on the other one. Also, all of the wiring needs refreshed in some manner. Plan to reland all of them with new electrical connections and deoxing agent. Once that is done, sometime later this winter, I am going to fire up the AC systems and check all of the goodies on that side of things. I also am planning to refit with up to date electronics.
