My 89 Capri l-drive won't plane out with 4 average size people in the back (two front two far rear). As soon as someone sets foot in the bow all is well. There's no trim control so is this just the nature of the beast? Runs great, all original equipment as far as I can tell. A little concerned motor is not developing peak hp under load. That or maybe there was some detachable wing on the lower unit that's missing?
