Hello there.. I'm looking to find the serial number on my 850 aswell as alittle info on her... Previous owners took it out ran great they went through 3 tanks of gas that weekend and then the next time he took it out it would idle but didn't want to really go... Any possibilities I should check first ? New project to me but looking to do the best job i can

Cowling colors are from 1976/77. Remove airbox and top cowling and see if carbs throttle plates open with throttle. Motor will have 2 carbs with linkage between them.

If that all works, suspect carbs are dirty or fuel pump is bad. Both can be cleaned and rebuilt cheaply, if you do the work yourself.
