85 rude 15hp dies when comming to a stop

Motor starts fine idles good runs strong, but when it has been running at wot or about 3/4 throttle when you are slowing down it will cut off. you can crank it right up and it runs fine then go for a 1 minute wot or 3/4 it will do it again when slowing down any ideas?

what spark plugs and spark plug gap have you got set?

Sounds like fuel, what if you pump the bulb before throttling back, bowl could be empty.

does that sound like a fuel pump getting weak I will try the bulb pump before slowing down and see what that does
