'85 johnson spark plug gap?

Hey all,<br />Is there a site where I can plug in my engine Model no# and get the specs for it? I'm needing to know the plug gap for an '85<br />Johnson 7.5 hp outboard Model no# J8RCSS. Thanks!

Try the gap at about .035 for starters.

1980 7.5 (cs) plug is a Champion QL77JC4 plug gapped at .030 - hope that helps.<br /><br />Good luck!
