Just bought an 85 115 to repower the McKee. It has the twin power paks but everything else is just about like my 1996 88 special. Can I use my spare( brand new) CDI single power pak on this motor with a little rewiring? Also what prop does everybody think will be needed? I was running a three bladed 15 inch turning 5700 rpm with the 88. I'am going to start with the spare 17 i have. I though maybe a 16 or 18 4 blade to raise the stern/get the bow down at speed. The Mckee, without trim tabs will porpoise a little at full throttle and maybe a four blade stern lifter would help.
