I have had a problem with my motor running fine in neutral and it runs fine at slow speed, but when I get on the throttle, it has no power. I am in the process of rebuilding the carbs, replacing plugs, any other suggestions are welcome. I have read through many of the forum topics on carb cleaning and timing but how not found to much info about setting the timing and syncing a Merc 50hp outboard. I checked the FAQ and found the procedure for the mercury inline, but was hoping to find a procedure for an outboard. Does anyone know if there is a forum topic that contains those procedures? If not, can any one provide me with the procedure. I am waiting for my manual to arrive, but have found the forum to contain great information that is easy to understand. I guess if worst case, I can take it in to have the timing set and carbs synced. Thanks in advance, mark
