All right this is what happens when a PROJECT takes longer than projected....originally thought about 6 months___year at most........ya sure. Been 2 1/2 years now, many delays not the least has been money. Had taken pics at the start but computer hard drive crash has seen to those...
I need pics showing what the throttle/shift device (there must be a proper name but don't know it, I'll call it a plate) attaches to on the side of the manifold. I cannot seem to find ANY bolt holes of the correct spacing and the size of the bolt holes in the manifold (looks like 5/16) is much smaller than the hole in the shift "plate".
Does this free float on the smaller bolts? Does it need sleeves on the bolts to take up the slack?
Even if I put one bolt in where I think it goes I cannot find anything that lines up with where the second set of holes is in the "plate" for a second attaching point. This has me confused more than I am used to......
As always, all help is appreciated and sought.....
