84 force 125 firing order

which wire off distrib goes to top cylinder, 2nd,3rd and so on? also, had the head gasket replaced and the motor wont start now??? thank for any suggestions...

First, if you have a distributor, it is NOT an 84 block. It is earlier since by 84 they had Prestolite distributorless ignition.

NOW: firing order is 1324 with top cylinder being #1. The plug wire closest to the block and facing backward is #1 (about 4-5 O'clock position looking up at the distributor cap) You go around clockwise looking up at the distributor cap.

Yes--all three and four cylinders engines used the same starter
