84 Evinrude 115 Trim Tilt Motor

The outside of my trim tilt motor has just corroded away. Currently still working but know its only a matter of time before a new one is needed. Been out searching for just the motor or even the whole setup so I can take care of it over the winter. The question is always... Is it a 2 wire or 3 wire ? Does anyone know of the 84 has a 2 wire or three wire ? Or can anyone tell me how to check to see if its a 2 or 3 ?

That's a 2 wire motor. OMC Part number 394176. Runs about 210.00 new....But you can get others that are cheaper. Sierra has them for about 132.00 and others for even less. I've had good luck with Arco products..iboat is currently out of stock for the Sierra.. . Arco motor is 6220... They do have those:
