84 200 hp merc black max on a 84 18' outrage,,,,to much motor?????

purchased a 84 boston whaler rampage with a 84 200 hp merc black max motor with 545 hours. I'm wondering how much this motor weighs. the spec call for a 150 hp max. is this to much motor for this boat? I think this motor has been on this boat from the get go. weight of this motor.....anybody ?????/

go to Nada and it will have the weight..not much difference in weight between the two... don't worry and run the 200h.p as long as your transom is in good shape...you don't want the motor to come up and kiss you from behind... I have a 13ft mini boat with a 90h.p merc with a strong transom...
