83 Sylvan 18' rewire

I acquired a Sylvan 18' and hull wiring is a mess. So I'm looking for a little advice to a resource where I can learn to wire it correctly and safely. Theres currently no junction box or fuses of any type, even appears to be some speaker wire to a harness on the tilt/trim pump. I'll be taking the family fishing this summer and I want it safe. So any advice is greatly appreciated! I am an auto mechanic and probably could set it up safely enough but in my experience a wise man seeks council and this isn't a car. Are there no individual fuses in the dash panel?

No theres not. Most accessories don't work and the ones that do are spliced into odd places. Theres positive wires just cut and hanging freely. Its pretty bad.

Ayuh,..... Thjere's really only one major difference,.....

Never, Ever use the hull for a ground path,.....
Always run both a positive, 'n ground wire to all of the accessories,.....

Good page to read before starting before jumping into it. I try to always use the right colors for two reasons. First it will be easier for the next person to trouble shoot the new wiring, second it helps an old guy like me when I forget how I did it.
