The eye on the trigger cracked and the bushing that the link connects to popped out. For the life of me, I cannot seem to get this link to line up properly with the hooked eye of the trigger. Does anyone have a picture showing how that link arm is attached to the hooked eye? I only seem to find pictures of the straight trigger connection.

Does anyone have a picture of a different HP motor that has the curved trigger? I bought the service manual and it doesn't show how it connects.. The way it seems it should connect makes the arm turn slightly and really put tension on the trigger link bushing.

It is hard to get a picture of the trigger arm because it is under the flywheel. When I rebuilt my 1980 80hp mercury, I took pictures of the motor as I took it apart. I am attaching the best picture I have of the trigger arm. The other pictures have the flywheel on. Hope these help.
