83 Chaparral ID?

I am working on rebuilding an 83 Chaparral that I would love to see pictures of the interior on. As it sits, it is bare, down to the glass inside and out, with a new gel coat. It's hull ID is FGBG1839M831 and engine ser. # is 6354767. The engine is a Merc 470, 170 hp, 224 ci and an Alpha One outdrive. If anyone can provide interior pics of a similar boat, or even just tell me specifically what model this one is, I'd really appreciate it. I've attached a few pictures, if you would like to see something in particular, just let me know. Any info is more than what I have now...

most of the manufacturers have an archive spot for old brochurers,

you should be able to spot your boat there, or e-mail them and see what they say......

btw....the chaps are really good boats

Thanks for the info. I went to the Chaparral web site and sent an email, but it forwarded to my local dealer. I'm going to try calling the manufacturer directly tomorrow. I didn't see anything on their website about past models, but that has helped in the past with my 87 Four Winns. I have also supplied vin #'s to Galaxie before and got a little info from them directly.
