I'm in the process of rebuilding my 175. The problem was I started hearing a rattling noise while off idle. Upon tear down I couldn't believe it when I found the problem to be the main - bottom bearing cage came appart. I'm sure glad the bearing didn't completely go and ruin any hard parts. My question is should I replace any of the other bearings as long as I have it apart? They all look good. I just re-ringed it two years ago and everything with the cyclinders and pistons look real good as well.
Is there any good discount place to buy parts and gaskets? I've found Napa to have good prices on Sierra gasket sets but they come without rings.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

sierra sells good after market parts actually they are a direct competitor with merc for parts ...when you replace the bottom bearing also check to insure that the bleed hose from the top to the bottom is intact and hooked up with no holes in it as this is one of the main feeds to the bottom bearing for lubrication...
