THANK YOU DILLIGAF next do you know if i can put gauges on this motor. my boat has a hot button on the dash but no wires are hooked to it the owner said it has never been hooked up.I can!t find gauges in a book

Tach: Any, pick off one leg of stator, set tach for 12 pole stator.<br /><br />Hot: Get a hot sensor from a 1988 115, you'll have to tap a spot for it to the right of #1 spark plug - DON'T drill too deep!!<br /><br />Pressure: either on the rear block cover or the exhaust cover will be a plug - gueage goes there.<br /><br />-W
