8 hp 4 stroke Honda outboard

Hi guy's

I have a friend that is looking at this outboard,and he would like know the year it was built, He only has the serial# which is 8ACL-1100251.

Would someone look this up if possible. Thanks in advance. J C.

that's a 1989
