a friend picked up a 8 h.p. 4-stroke that was used on a sailboat. has a wire connection on the cowling that has him puzzeled. it is on the left side of the motor looking at it from the front of the motor. any one know what it is?
If it is a Honda it may be the plug that feeds 12v dc so you can charge a battery. Mine has one, it has two flat connectors in sort of a T arrangement.
