'79 model # confusion

My engine is stamped 35RL79A and E507855. When finding parts, the model #'s to select from are completely diff. 35hp., rope, long shaft, 1979, A. Am I looking at the wrong #'s?

You are looking up the evinrude model number, drop it down to johnson and try again.
