bought a basket case trying to reassemble but i cant figure out the mounting of the power steering pump and alternator looks to be long mount style p/s pump unsure on alt. diagram or picture would help please

P/S pump is down low on port side, alt under exhaust manifold on starboard side.

The 898 Mercruiser had a 305 GM engine.
8 = V8
98 = 198 HP
The 350 GM has 260 HP
My '79 898 GM 305 has the P/S on lower portside and alternator on upper portside of the engine.
IMHO
