79 Johnson Manual for 78 rude?

I have been able to find a Johnson manual from '79. I have a '78 rude 140843c. I think this manual will be good enough just not sure. I need timing, link and synch and spark plug info as well as torque specs.

Any of you more experienced guys think this will be fine?
