Here is the problem after a rebuild I am having spark issues , the problem is hard to find cause I have spark on all 4 cylinders then I loose spark on 2 & 4 then I have spark again took it to lake had spark on all 4 was running good then motor lost rpm and then it regained the rpm did this over a few times then would not idle lost spark again on 2 & 4 only to pull out of lake and take home an put on hose to have spark again , what could be causing this seems to only loose spark on those cylinders when in lake so hard to track down issues cause when i get it home to trouble shoot it has spark..any ideas.. is this most likly a short some where ?

Those problems can be hard to find.
I would try switching power packs from side to side and see if the no spark condition switched sides. If it does you most likely have a power pack going out.
Sometimes an electrical component can fail when hot and then work properly when cool.

Ahh thats a good idea , will try that .. am I correct in saying that if it was timer base are stator then no side would get spark , is that correct ?

If the timer base or stator were defective you should have a no spark on all cylinders.
