79 evinrude to 95 johnson tilt/trim transfer

I recently purchased a 95 johsnon 250 and replaced my Evinrude 150. I would like to keep the same controls in place from the 79 and use them for the 95 if that is possible. The newer controls wont fit as well as my current set up. My i connected the main Red connector and the gear selector cables, now I am at the tilt/trim portion. What are your recommendations for connecting it? I currently have a tilt/trim junction box mounted on my boat, and teh new motor has that part connected to the motor.
