Anybody have a clue how to find one of the aluminum caps that fits at the stern end of the port gunwale where it meets the transom? I had attached a picture with the piece in question circled. My 1978 Sylvan Sportster was missing one when I acquired it. Not having a technical name for it and having such an old boat, I am not sure how to source one. I am trying to avoid going to a machine shop and having a matched set recreated due to what I am sure would considerable expense. I have tried searching for salvage operations in our area but have had no success. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
