Just found this boat and motor after sitting for a few years. I turned the key to the on position to check what is working and not, and the OIL light came on and a buzzer sounded, what are the possible causes and repairs?

I lowered outdrive 3-4 inches with the tilt trim toggle - now outdrive will not come back up?

Motor Serial (# 5192093 )
Stern Drive Serial (# 5199679 - 1.98 R )
I have 2 manuals (Seloc & Clymer) and I cannot locate the answers?
Another site I can look?

Any and all advice is greatly appreciated, thank-you.

That is because you have 2 knee pads, not manuals. Those things are garbage.
Go up to the Adults only thread (second thread in this forum) and find the Mercruiser service manual links. You need #3 and #4 for your engine and drive.

Did you try the trailer button to raise the outdrive? If the trim sensor on the drive is not set right, or if you are above the trim setting of that sensor, then the trim switch will not move the drive up.
