My 70 horse Johnson is running rough...misfiring and difficult to stay running and get into drive gear. When it does go into gear it WILL get up on plain but it is a VERY slow and steady acceleration. I was thinking that I should check my coils so I pulled them off and checked them with my Fluke multimeter. They read 1260, 1260 and 1350 each. What confuses me is the chart says that they should be between 200-400 ohms. The readings on my meter are pretty consistent! But, if I go by the chart they are ALL BAD! It's too much of a coincidence that the actual readings are so tight together! What do I go by? Any advice will be greatly appreciated! Cheers
