"77 55hp Erude prop

need a new prop, found a few rocks hiding. i have a 1972 Starccraft 16" SS Center console 2 batteries in front of console, leaning post. Gas tank ( 12 gallon) rear. Prop size is 11 3/4 x17. I've read that props for a 13'-15 boat, light weight. (whaler?)

I notice there are 12x 17 . should I stick with the 11 3/4 x 17. Did 24.7 miles an hour with 1 passenger.
