76' OMC I6 4 barrel carb conversion...

I believe its a 165hp I6 with a 2 barrel carb has anyone put a 4 barrel on one? No one seams to make a marine 500 cfm 4 barrel, 600 is the smallest. Years ago I did a 78 nova I6 4 barrel and manifold it helped a lot! but the boat manifold looks like there is a secondary plate that could come off and then the 4 barrel bolt right on?? thanks!!

As far as I know anyone who has tried it has always gone back to the 2 bbl, if you could find a 400 cfm 4 bbl it would probably work.
