Probably not.

No Problem.

We probably need some more details from you. ;) Boat size, hull style, open ocean or bays, etc.

Welcome aboard.

It's not the boat.......people have navigated the ocean in dig out canoes for centuries.

The real question.... how good is your seamanship? ;)

you can take anything out into the ocean on a calm day.

I would not take a tri-hull out anywhere ever if there is any chance of more than a 6" chop simply because they ride like carp.

however when the winds pick up and the waves grow to 3' or more, I would want a much bigger boat.

I have a 20 foot bow rider and in 2 foot waves you wish you had stayed home.
