Hi, nice forum! Am new and have 2 dumb questions.<br /><br />1) I have a merc sn A116114 75HP, but don't know the year. Can't find any other numbers, but there is a 9/5/84 stamp on part of it ( white paint )<br /><br />2) Is there a recommended lifting point or lift ring/harness? My Evinrude which died had a nice lift ring built in which was easy to grab with an engine hoist. I can't find a good place to grab it and I don't want to break anything ( nor do I wish to muscle it on, it's heavy ).<br /><br />Thanks much!
