75hp johnson peeing prob.

My father in law just gave me a motor for my boat, its a 1975 75hp johnson stinger. Hasnt been ran in about 4 years, i hooked everything up and it started right up(i'm begining to like johnsons...lol) well the problem i have is i cant see it peeing, nor can i find where it should pee. Are the older johnsons differnt b/c there is no hole on the side or in the back for it to pee out of. please help

The tell tale (pee thingy) did'nt come about till 78'. Look on the port transom bracket for a metal tag. On this is the model number. The last two numbers should indicated the year.
