I have a 1975 75hp on my 15' Winner Tiki. I was wandering what the most effective way to adjust the air/fuel to get all the carbs in sync? I've tried by ear but it seems to run rich. Is there a vacuum port where I can use a gauge?

Thanks, I'll give it a shot. As an auto technician we usually start our adjustments at 1 1/4 turn then use gauges and other goodies to fine tune from there. I did this to the 75hp and it did ok but later stalled and fuoled the new plugs so I turned them in a little and got it running good again until I slowed down and tried to go again. At first, it didn't have much power and then all of the sudden it took of like a bat out of hell. It did that a couple more times so I just beached it swam for a while. Figured I'd make a post and put a few brains together before I tried anything else. I really wish I could fine tune them to be in perfect sinc but I guess thats not the way this engine was meant to be. Thanks again

Re: 75hp Carb Adjustment

Good call, it worked like a charm. I took the boat out last weekend and had no problems what so ever. I was a little disapointed as my max speed was 28mph. I have had it up to 40 on glass like water but normally do 35mph on smooth water. All is good though, I enjoyed taking the old boat out again
