just Bought a boat with a 75 Merc 850 ...1st time out yesterday motor started fine and cruised fine in the no wake zone after about 10 minutes we reached an area where we could power up and check it out.....got up to full throttle and ran great about a 1/8 mile then all of a sudden it shut off like the key was turned off (key was still on) no sputtur or nothing just shut off...checked the bulb and was nice and hard...started right back up and took off alittle slower (around 4000 RPM)and it did it again...started again right up and tried going slower yet did it again and this time would not start back up...checked bulb again and was nice and hard....got towed back in and took it home and it started at home and idles fine with no stumble or nothing...motor has just had the 3yr service done .seems more like an electrical problem than starving for gas....Help
